Fundraising
Friends of St. Mary’s raise funds which benefit all the pupils of St. Mary’s School. Our main fundraising events of the school year are the Christmas and Summer Fairs and we have other events throughout the year. Friends of St. Mary’s have always supported the high standard of music provision in school and we continue to support this financially each term.
Most recently funds have been allocated to help towards the cost of new computers for the school library. We have also been able to help with the playground refurbishment, the maintenance of the gardening area and provided additional resources for each class.
Raising these funds are a joint effort between the committee members, staff, parents, governors and friends.
